Planning an event for Healing Arts South Australia? Or maybe you already run a program that fits right in? Register to be part of Healing Arts South Australia 2027!

  • The art to growing up safe and happy
  • The art to mental health in a changing world
  • The art to connection through culture
  • The art to ageing well

Use these as a starting point. Your event doesn’t need to tick every box, just find the theme that fits what you already do, or what you’d love to try.

Think about what events might match well with your chosen theme/s and what aspects of health and wellbeing you’re wanting to celebrate. Perhaps there’s an existing activity that fits the spirit of Healing Arts South Australia. New or existing, big or small, it all counts.

  • Dance classes
  • Open mic night
  • Poetry readings
  • Crafternoons
  • Comedy
  • Music performances
  • Storytelling
  • Podcasting

Decide on a date, time, and location during Healing Arts South Australia. Think about who you’ll need to involve, such as a venue, partner organisation, or volunteers, and what (if any) materials you’ll need. Partnering up is a great way to spread the word and lighten the load.

Submit your event details through the Healing Arts South Australia registration page. Once registered, your event will be included in official promotion, feature on our events map and be celebrated as part of the wider program across South Australia.

When the time comes, we’ll send you resources to help you promote your event and you can download our promotional templates.

Think about how more people can find out about your event, whether through social media, a community noticeboard, a local newsletter, or word of mouth. Registering your event with us will also boost its visibility across the state!

Whether you’re planning something new or want to highlight something you already do, we’d love to celebrate your event during Healing Arts South Australia 2027.

The Healing Arts South Australia Research Symposium brings together researchers, healthcare professionals, artists, policymakers and community leaders to explore the growing field of arts, health and wellbeing.

Through a series of themed events, the symposium will showcase leading research, innovative programs and emerging ideas that demonstrate the role of creativity in improving health outcomes, wellbeing and social connection.

Designed to foster collaboration across sectors, the symposium will strengthen the evidence base for creative health, encourage knowledge sharing, and inspire new approaches to integrating the arts into healthcare and community wellbeing initiatives.

Further information, including keynote speakers, program details and registration opportunities, will be released as planning progresses.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from researchers, practitioners, artists and sector leaders interested in presenting as part of the symposium program. If you have expertise, research or a project that contributes to the arts and health field, we would love to hear from you.
